Went for a Sunday drive today...

To check out Tim at Liquid Iron Industries in West Berlin, NJ. I arrived at the shop around noon and found Tim hard at work burning plate on his Torchmate for his custom fire extinguisher mounts. I PM’d Timmay on Pirate at the end of last year (2009) about building me some bombproof tube fenders for my ZJ. At that time he was up to his eyeballs building two racers for the KOH event, so I decided to wait until he returned and let the dust settle a bit.

unfortunately, Car 609 developed some major engine problems while pre running in Johnson Valley and never made it to the starting line. The car was sitting at his shop so I snapped a few photos while I was there this afternoon: (Tim is wearing the dark green jacket)
