I'm still alive, just not here too much. I moved to SC in Feb to take a spot on a FD down here. I figure it's like retiring 14 years before I thought I'd get to. Granted, I still have to go to work a couple days a week, but it's not like it's that busy...
The heep is sitting in Jersey in my parents driveway. Looks like I'm going to sell it at this point. I'll own another one someday, but the distance to rocks from here and other priorities are putting that on the back burner. I miss it, bit it's not like I got to wheel in the last few years anyway...

I'm here reading quite a bit. Still haven't fixed the K-5 Blazer yet, but that's gonna happen real soon now that I have gotten all of the parts I need to put the motor in.

Oh you know it's Utah.....had snow yesterday in the elevations. Valley can't decide if it wants to warm up or stay cold. Trying to get myself back together so I can get another working Jeep to wheel. Other then that the same old crap.

Ya I miss wheeling Jersey from time to time but then I look in any direction see these grand mountains laugh and go back to what I was doing. I'm sure I'll be forced to revisit Jersey in the near future. When I do I'll be sure to give you a shout and maybe go for a ride.

No it died. First I flopped it and was going to just live with it since all it did was dent my passenger door(replaced it), wasted the A pillar, and smashed the windshield a small amount but it was a trail rig by that point so it didn't matter. Then I was out blasting around in the West Desert (which is not a sand desert) and I guess the cooling system didn't like going 80mph for hours on end. The stupid plastic diverter for the heater core cracked and emptied the cooling system. Didn't realize it till it was to late. And lastly the unibody had had enough because I never put any stiffeners on the frame rails.
Just to give you an idea of what the West Desert looks like. Just imagine vast amounts of land with pretty nice dirt roads with prairie grass on either side. Then every once in awhile you come up to a nice little mountain range to play one then move on to the next one.
Say good bye, off to the shredder......
Though before it finally went out I did get it into the Cherokee Performance book, hehehehe.

There is this though, I started it about a year and a half ago but it's in stalled status right now.
Can you see whats coming...if you look in the back ground you can see I kind of started but didn't like it
Basically it's going to be an extra cab,long door, Comanche when I'm done with, maybe. Real frame with no unibody. Tube bed blah blah...you know me.
