Does anyone have a map or directions of where to go once you get to the trails. preferably trails from the astion ranger station

You should be able to get one at the rangers station. I never seem to be there when it is open.

the only time i was down there was on a sunday and im going this sunday. the station is only open monday-saturday.

Not much point in us telling you where to drive if you don't have tow hooks.
Your rig looks like it has a tube bumper and the trails are pretty beat up after all this rain. The tube bumper could break off if you get stuck and need a good tug to get going again.

Did you plan on going with others in case you get stuck?

anyway,
The area is pretty big and you can also take trails north or east to other parks, so a good large state map might be what you need.
I also carry a magazine type map, about 90 pages with a lot of detail, it is made by Delorme, I think I bought it at WAWA.

One last thing, on this site we do not publicly discuss wheeling details, so once you get a couple of buddies lined up for a ride, send me a PM.

i actually need to update that pic. i have a front hitch welded in to the bumper and bolted to the frame and i have a xrc8 winch. yes i would be going with people. ive been down here once before and i do a lot of wheelin in stokes state forest

youd be 30 minutes from then, sounds about right, cause it usually takes me 2 hours to get to the pines
